Epithelioid Sarcoma of the forearm

INTRODUCTION Epithelioid sarcoma is a rare, slow growing malignant mesenchymal tumour, which mimics a benign granulomatous lesion leading to mistaken clinical diagnosis. The benign clinical appearance prompted us to do only a marginal excision initially, wherein now we feel that a more radical treatment should have been attempted to prevent the recurrence. We feel that sharing of our experience and the short review of literature would help the emerging surgeons in early identification and better understanding of this benign looking malignant lesion.
